The ONLINE CAT................

1st DEC. 2009 : My CATwalk started as early as 4 am from my home to a far away center in Kukas(JAIPUR)(230+ kms from my place!).It was clearly mentioned by IIMs to be positively present at the venue by 1.30 pm (but unlike my fellow compatriots,i reached there well in advance...).Still fresh and energetic and ecstatic to write an ONLINE exam,even after safar(ing) of more than 8 hrs.So i was there around 12 noon....i tried my hands at Sudoku and a sample test offered by many of the omnipresent coaching institutes......(and i do know what does Omnipresent means)......but i would have been pleased if they could have offered me an Online one with a laptop of theirs,alas,if wishes were horses,beggars would ride!!!
Meanwhile 1.30 pm deadLINE of IIMs passed by only to arrive at 2.20pm(dil hai hindustani...).And then started the ONLINE process for next 50 minutes or so...... First it was the ROADLINE outside the main entrance of the venue,it increased and decreased with the passing traffic.Next was INLINE as the name itself suggest IN the institute.And then we entered the INSTI building......only to find ourselves squeezed into another LINE,the LABLINE,only to be lectured by some beautiful staff members(for a few it was another LINE....) and finally the wait was over but not before clicking my pic and mapping my finger.At last we entered the arena to find ourselves into a seat(space) that was of the size used by cyber cafe owners to maximize their profits,using every inch of the space available.I may sound a bit complaining,but who wont be?? Then came the instructions and finally THE ONLINE happened to me(us)........and when i came back to my senses it was all over.Those 2.25 hrs nd those 60 fights,equally distributed,took its toll........a heart burn,a lot of IFs and BUTs,a lot of questions doing the rounds inside the(now empty)sphere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????
